The Man is 80
When Roger De Coster started riding motorcycles growing up in Belgium, there’s no way he could have imagined the lifelong journey that dirt bikes would take him on. The greatest ambassador the sport has ever known, De Coster has traveled the world, first as a racer, then as a team manager, and always as The Man. He won five 500cc World Championships, four Trans-AMA titles, more Motocross of Nations wins than anyone—both as a rider and as a team manager—and has inspired countless people around the world. Happy 80th birthday, Roger, we salute you!
