Reason For Being

On a shelf in my office at Racer X is a plastic crate full of event tickets, pit passes, AMA licenses, hard cards, media credentials, and more. They are my collection of a lifetime of going to the races, first as a kid with my family, then as a competitor myself, next as a photographer and race journalist, then a sideline reporter for television, and most recently as a promoter. To some degree they also illustrate the history of where we’ve been as a sport.
This week I finally got to pull that big crate down off the shelf and add something brand new to it for the first time in quite a while.
