Reason For Being

As I write this, we are in the stretch run of the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Our print date fell on the Thursday before the Florida National, the last Saturday in September, which means tomorrow I’ll be flying to Jacksonville. And that will bring an end to a personal streak of sorts: it’s going to be the first time I’ve stepped on an airplane since I flew home from Daytona back in March. That seven-month stretch is the longest I’ve gone without flying since I was in high school in the early eighties!
