Reason For Being
When the first round of the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship ended at Fox Raceway on Memorial Day weekend, the 250 Class results included something that had never been seen in race results in the 52-year history of the series: A Triumph motorcycle. And it wasn’t in there just once, but twice—and both were in the top ten overall. In the outdoor national debut of the Triumph TF 250-X, factory rider Jalek Swoll went 6-5 for fifth overall while teammate Joey Savatgy went 5-13 for ninth overall, overcoming a first-turn crash in the second moto to salvage his day. Crazy to think that had Joey not gone down Triumph might have had a podium.
