ONE Industries Appoints New Directors
SAN DIEGO – ONE Industries Corp., the San Diego-based maker of motocross and mountain bike equipment under the ONE and Six Six One brands, enhances the management team appointing Troy Powell to Director of Marketing, Igor Burt to Product Director, and Dave Gowland to VP of Business Development.
Troy Powell joins ONE Industries as Director of Marketing. Powell most recently served as MX Marketing Senior Manager at Volcom, where he led the brand's successful entry into motocross, working closely with multi-time Supercross and Motocross champion Ryan Villopoto. "With over 18 years of marketing experience, Troy has deep roots in the action sports industry building innovative programs across surf, skate, snow and moto that ignite passion for the sport with both enthusiasts and fans," says ONE's President Jeff McGuane.
Igor Burt joins ONE Industries as Director of Product Design, Development, and Merchandising. With over 16 years experience in the outdoor and action sports industries, Igor has a track record of creating breakthrough designs and product innovations including winning several Outside Magazine "Gear-of-the-Year" Awards for Adventure- Racing Footwear, Backpacks and Gear. "Great products are the lifeblood of our brands", said McGuane "and we are excited to have Igor leading the product charge".
Dave Gowland joins ONE as the new Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining ONE Industries, Gowland was Team Manager of Rockstar Energy Racing where, in 2013, the ONE Industries-sponsored team achieved great success as riders Davi Millsaps, Jason Anderson, and Blake Wharton all captured victories in AMA Supercross. With over 25 years of experience, Gowland is a veteran of the motocross industry with experience spanning from General Manager of Thor MX to overseeing Kawasaki's Team Green Amateur program. "Seeing this industry from a diversity of perspectives gives Dave unique insights into what it takes to build enduring and successful partnerships with sponsors, licensors, and retailers alike," said McGuane.
