  • The Tennessee National enters its first year on the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Schedule in 2013.
  • There hasn't been a Pro Motocross National in the Southeast region of the U.S. since 1997 when the series made a stop in Gainesville, Fla.
  • There hasn't been a Pro Motocross National in the state of Tennessee since 1977.
  • Victory Sports, promoter of the Tennessee National, has been putting on amateur motocross events at Muddy Creek Raceway since 1986.
  • As one of the largest race promoters in the country, Victory Sports puts on seven different race series from January to December.
  • Muddy Creek Raceway has been undergoing a facility renovation for the past six months, totaling an estimated 5,000 man-hours in the process.
  • Hailing from nearby Abington, Va., GEICO Honda's Zach Osborne looks for his first 250 Class win at his home track of Muddy Creek on Saturday.
  • Riders from 15 different countries will line up at the inaugural event on Saturday.
  • The Built Ford Tough Tennessee National expects to see a record number of people on the Blountville property.
