Nice change of pace. Great to see "a day in the life" of a non-pro. DeRosa always throws down excellent video edits. Love the slow-mo transitions. Great music too. Good luck Rachel!
That berm was like the Great Wall of China. Lay it down and twist the throttle, Girl!! It WILL stick. Then you can show those boys your backside as you pass them!! Good luck at Loretta's! More power to all the great women in our sport!
Hmm.. I almost just passed along without saying anything. But.. a pretty face is enough to get you on the homepage of Racer X - even if you ride like a goon? :-(
@superwhip, so thats what a douchbag looks like.
@Superwhip - They are trying to draw some more attention towards WMX!
I bet she is faster than you....
Guys just ignore superwhip, he is just more Eurotrash...
I thought the video was pretty cool.. Its good to do a story on somebody other than the top pro's...I liked it..
@Superpig- oops, Superdouche, oops, Superass, oops, Superidiot. Keep your negative comments in your trailer park ......LITTLE MAN!! .
Rachel,
You are an incredibly talented athlete, and I can appreciate your dedication and work ethic. If there is any way you can prepare yourself for the humidity of Tennessee, then you might want to start incorporating it into your routine at least twice a week.
Humidity can bring out physical issues that you are not experiencing in such a dry and arid climate. The air feels much heavier and more difficult to breath. Exercise induced asthma is a common occurrence. I am not being negative in any way. I just thought you might benefit from the knowledge of someone who lives on the East Coast and deals with it year-round.

looks to me like a great role model for young women. good luck and stay healthy.
Rachel, the best of luck to you at Loretta's, and congratulations on this video shoot from Racerx. I agree with @motojoe710 in that you seem like a great role model with your head on straight. Do great in school, and keep riding your butt off. I have a feeling you're gonna do great! My daughter is 16 and I have her riding a yz80 on a beginner track. She loves it, and girls like you are very inspiring to her so keep it up!
A nice girl just trying hard to ride her bike and some guy with the middle name of "fennefoss" lmaof (means total ahole in euro-speak) just has to leave his put down....It must bum "fennefloss superwhimp ' out to know he'll never be as fast or have as much fun riding as she does....Keep up the good work , Rachel and good luck....
@foundwood- good advice. I've been to Loretta's a couple of times and it shocked the hell out of me how hot and humid it was, not to mention it shocked the air out of me too! I heard of riding with garbage bags under the jersey to create heat and less air movement. Not sure how safe or smart that is actually but I'd be dumb enough to try it next time. Good luck Rachel.
Great advise from everyone above for Loretta's. Don't worry about the haters like superdouch! I'm sure at your level, everyone is telling you you can't do it. Well, you have be gone to prove the haters wrong, most of us what to see women s motocross explode! Your the fore-front that will help make it happen, keep the faith and twist the throttle girl!
The best part is "I'm 19"......whew!
Hope you achive your goals in lorreta and eventually go pro, I have 2 girls and I showed them your video so consider your self an ambassador of the sport...
Rock on! Rip it up kid. My daughters are gonna see this. School, work and riding. Role model much?

She rides like a girl hahahaha... Not too shabby though, good luck.
Not too bad on the eyes either ....But cant help to think Tonya Harding look a like from back in the day....
@Smokey 2 the best part is " im 19 " whew......Classic!!
I am really in to the whole woman's Lib thing, what a breath of air!!!
Wow....nice looking too. Always so cool to see girl riders. Especially when then they can understand the passion instead of b&tching; at you.....you're going riding this weekend again?! :-)
Good luck to you Rachel, and to her parents I say good job folks. Not only is she a good rider, she seems well grounded and respectful...nice to see.Have fun out there young lady!
