Valli Motorsports Yamaha Signs Paul Coates

Racer X has learned that Valli Motorsports Yamaha has signed amateur racer Paul Coates.

“This will be the first amateur rider in the Valli Motorsports amateur program,” says team owner Chad Lanza. “He’ll race some amateur nationals and the Monster Energy Cup this year, and if all goes well, we’ll have him start racing the Eastern Regional 250SX series in 2014.”

Coates, who hails from England and trains at Millsaps Training Facility, finished third overall last year in the Amateur All-Stars race at the Monster Energy Cup.
