BTO Sports is your number one source for all of your motocross parts, gear, accessories and apparel. BTOSports.com is a motocross company who is truly dedicated to the sport and to the customer. Proud sponsor of your Racer X Podcasts and the BTO Sports race team.

This week on the BTOSports.com Racer X Podcast presented by Thor MX, we chat up former 125 SX champion, factory Suzuki rider and long time privateer Todd DeHoop. In a vast career filled with ups and downs, we get Todd to rate the Michigan Mafia members, talk to us about his time with Suzuki, whether he should have taken the Honda deal and much, much more.

Oh Todd, Todd, Todd, I am so glad you mentioned about memory loss because I did cable tie your grips to your bike in Texas as well as gluing on the grips, you didn't want to use wet gloves like I suggested and after the race you told me your gloves got so wet they were just spinning on the grips. Greg Bowen and Beckington brothers and Todd's own brother, Chad, were all fast Michigan guys in the years of '87-88 when Todd was on the national scene.

While it could be a surprise to, I remember MXA talking about Todd in the GPs in early 1990.
