General information:
A two day opening of Finnish Supercross series 2013 will take place in Helsinki, Finland on Friday 1st - & Saturday 2nd of February 2013. Helsinki Supercross is arranged in connection with motorcycling Expo in Nordic countries. We are looking for a pro riders from the US and also from Europe to participate in the event. The race is open for both MX1 (SX) and MX2 (Lites) riders. Riders need to have Supercross experience and passport. The promoter of the race will arrange the flights, transportation and accommodation for the chosen riders from US and provide them with a bike and a mechanic for the race. We are looking for riders having experience in Supercross or/and Arenacross. Riders from Europe can get support with their travel expenses. No start money.
Last year in Lahti we had Weston Peick, Nick Paluzzi, Chris Plouffe and Jason Thomas from US. Just few weeks back Weston Peick won the last two rounds of Finnish Supercross season 2012 in Tampere. The promoter of Helsinki Supercross is aware that Anaheim II round of Supercross is on same weekend, but hopefully some east cost riders and willing to come over and gain some international racing experience. Semi-retired Jason Thomas is already booked for the race.

Prize money for each night:
1. 1000€ (about US $1290)
2. 600€ (about US $775)
3. 500€ (about US $645)
4. 300€ (about US $387)
5. 200€ (about US $258)
6. 100€ (about US $129)

Um, maybe it's just me, but the way I see it,you pack your stuff, fly it to Finland, for a chance to win not nearly as much as it cost you to get there. That is if you win BOTH nights. Correct me, if I've missed something, but good luck with that!
It's just you, because the promoter arranges AND PAYS for flights, food and hotel, so it's going to cost you just ride to the airport. You can always check how it was for Weston and rest of the guys.
Thanks MBR125 As I sat here thinking about it, that thought crossed my mind. But now I can't help but think that it will be SX season, full bore. Then what? Maybe I should check a scedule. But if I was to check something, I guess I'd check out some Finnish hotties! lol
