Riders wanted for indoor supercross in Finland, Friday
1st - & Saturday 2nd of February 2013
A two day opening of Finnish Supercross series 2013 will take place in Helsinki, Finland on Friday 1st - & Saturday 2nd of February 2013. Helsinki Supercross is arranged in connection with motorcycling Expo in Nordic countries. We are looking for a pro riders from the US and also from Europe to participate in the event. The race is open for both MX1 (SX) and MX2 (Lites) riders. Riders need to have Supercross experience and passport. The promoter of the race will arrange the flights, transportation and accommodation for the chosen riders from US and provide them with a bike and a mechanic for the race. We are looking for riders having experience in Supercross or/and Arenacross. Riders from Europe can get support with their travel expenses. No start money.
Last year in Lahti we had Weston Peick, Nick Paluzzi, Chris Plouffe and Jason Thomas from US. Just few weeks back Weston Peick won the last two rounds of Finnish Supercross season 2012 in Tampere. The promoter of Helsinki Supercross is aware that Anaheim II round of Supercross is on same weekend, but hopefully some east cost riders and willing to come over and gain some international racing experience. Semi-retired Jason Thomas is already booked for the race.
The race is held at the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre.http://goo.gl/maps/uCKwF
