From Red Bull:
The Austrian based motorcycle company KTM, dominates the motocross scene in Europe. On US soil however, their success has been minimal. Monday through Friday are there's to control, but Saturday's determine their fate. As a company, KTM was built to thrive, but from a racing perspective, they still have a long way to go to be considered the premiere racing team in the world. This series follows their journey.
Stay tuned every Wednesday!

This is a great persepective.............Yes they have come along way from the old white machine............Mr-Mx and I remember the first bikes,we were racing against. Andy &Frank; Stacy, Frank Gallo,Meenan,Hicks,Cantaloupi,Hollis......They had a lot of issues and DNF'S.............Boy the times have changed.
It is nice to have a company where the dirt bike riders aren't the red headed stepchild. While I bleed Honda red, I still have a K-Team 125SX in my garage cause it makes me smile. I wish they would just ditch the wood screws so we all can take them seriously, though - sheeeesh! On the other hand, Honda boned me by dropping the 2 stroke line, making me head over to Service Honda to get my red on, so it isn't like Honda doesnt have productile-disfunction issues.
All that being said, I finally felt comfortable telling my friends about the K-Team crush I had after Rodger took over the racing program. Not like you care, but I am just sayin...
first one i ever saw was a early 100/125 and Malcolm was pulling wheelies on it in Rattlesnake canyon near Riverside. at a later date..lol..Me an L.R. pulled Gallo out of a ravine at a two day...then he kicked ass on the test and won.....I thought I needed an MC5 like his ...i did not , but I was impressed he could beat me on that tub .....lol....don't remember them having issues or alot of DNF's....ever....crappy Marzochis and harsh WP's yeah and...maybe some tuners that could'nt tune em...but the KTM part was always reliable...and fast motors no doubt...glad they finally put a link on it and have such a following. Wonder if Yamaha or Suzuki or Kaw would have sold more bikes if they offered a WIDE RATIO TRANS and some flywheel for trail or off road use....dummys.
the 350 well at least the factory machine makes as much HP as 450 do but it sacrifices power/torque down lower on rpm. 450 has flatter more linear powerban
