congrats to JB for signing a multi year contract extension! He's a class act who deserves to be taken care of. Hopefully One will be able to support him for two more seasons. They just laid of about 10% of their staff which is a clear sign of stagnant sales and decreasing profitability. Once cash flow becomes a problem, there is virtually no time at all before bankruptcy is declared and all the remaining employees leave with their possessions in boxes. This assumes that an injection of cash from an investor doesn't happen, which could be their only saving grace...again.
I was one of those 15% in the early stages. One is definitely dropping all of their eggs into the marketing basket hoping for a payoff. The big shots over at One sure know how to get paid and spend cash...........just not on the product or the company.
I still believe in the brand and think they have a great product. I just hope a bunch of non business oriented fools don't run it into the ground.
On topic, I'm pumped for Davi!
Congrats to Justin for signing to keep racing the best gear in the industry! A stand-up guy like that deserves solid support. Best of luck in your coming seasons JB!
I’ve been stoked with what One has been doing lately and I’m fired up over their new stuff. Congrats JB – you earned it for sure!
Just think what One would be if they hadn't lost Dungey.....
