@thetoothperry How do you know JGR offered more money.I though that was the reason he left is because the other team offered him more money.I though he tried to get a lot more money because of his second overall in SX.Keep in mind something like 8 of the top 10 were injured before the season was over.I actually think that this is the first time he has completed a series in like forever.
This was well known He took the easy early vaction all summer and got paid for nothing he is back at where he started he is toast.............

Anyone that gives that guy more than a 1yr contract are fools. You are only going to get a few good races the season before contract negotiations out of him.

milsaps will be way more of a factor on the suzuki, so will nico izzi.

It looks like this is not a factory team so I'm wondering if Davi M will be at a huge disadvantage over the factory teams?? OR is this a great team with great bikes????
@canadianmxfan, i don't think they are bad bikes considering they are suzukis and also considering this is like the "factory" team suzuki on the lites class
It is rockstar suzuki, with factory support I believe. It is their factory 250 team and Davi and Nico Izzi (I think it is) are riding 450's for them.
He left JGR Yamaha because they wouldn't offer him a 2 year contract instead of 1, his words on the PulpMx show awhile back, nothing to do with the bike. Read the test rides of the 2013 YZ and Brayton's input. Every bike has it's "issues", Yamaha just continues to get a bad rap with a snowball effect after James left and blamed it on the bike. I love James but its easy to always jump to the bike first, unfortunately he'd look like a fool blaming this season on another bike.

If thats Millsaps on a Rockstar Suzuki, does that mean Metty is not getting his spot back. Haven't been following the trades but I was under the impression metty was re-signing with Suzuki.?

@killmoto yea Davi has been on suzuki's most of his life. I rode a 2012 YZ450 and i didnt think they were bad. But hey im no pro and its not like I raced it. Right now it looks like if u wanna go blue, then get the 125 or YZ250 2t. Wont let you down I promise
I wonder why they dont let the 250 2t race against 250F's. The 125 against 250f is just unfair.

So Davi will be contending for wins this year on the Suzuki? He did pretty well on the Yamaha in SX. With the Yamaha being such a "pig" and the Suzuki being a proven winner, I expect Stewart to pretty much sweep every round of SX and Millsaps should have no problem trading podiums with RV, Dungey and Reed.......yeah ok.
So did Nico Izzi get a ride with Rockstar Suzuki and if he did what class in SX and MX ?
I can't wait for Davi to DOMINATE on that Suzuki like James did this summer...

Davi is a solid rider and he's on a better bike. Overall, a marked improvment. I think this pairing has more potential than Yoshimura / Metcalfe.
New digs on an old favorite might just be what D.M. needs to revive his career..........let's not forget he is one of a select few to win a SX race during the Carmichael / Stewart / Reed / Villopoto / Dungey eras.
Izzi too. If he puts forth the effort like he did this summer, he ought to do well.
Davi has raced on Suzuki, Honda and Yamaha and his results through a season have always been the same. There will be no difference next year.

Shoulda been an progression from Pastrana (had he continued on the mx path normal racers take) taller/stronger guy with RC/JS/Reed speed, but never really lived up to the hoopla either. Every now and then you see it.....
If Millsaps could ride the Yammy, then the Zook should be a much better fit.
For coming back from his internal injuries and toughing it out, he's done pretty darn good. Unlike big Bubba who wins one and throws one in the toilet or
quits (unlike RC , Villopoto or Dungey).
Nothing against the guy- but how does he keep getting factory rides? I would think the factory would like to groom a younger rider with some future potential? Millsaps can get a top 5 on any weekend- but how much does he have left? Kinda like the Nick Wey aura- solid yeah- winner not so much, at least not yet!

Any Millsaps did great on the Yamaha, just the Stewtards wont admit it cause Stewie wadded it up all the time. But he does on the Suzuki too.. Guys seem to forget that he finished 2nd in the points in supercross.. Dont want to hear the crap about everybody being hurt either, they were this summer when Stewie was winning, so whats the difference??

this is funny same thing happened to honda when mcgrath left honda because he didnt like the new perimeter frame, hell they never updated mcgraths frame just the motor and suspention, i dont think honda got another title till RC showed up, that was a long time/dryspell, i can remember crustys or one of those videos taking a tractor a dumping a load of dirt on a cr250 as till say your buried. yamah needs to wake up
