I just looked up CBS sports network on DirecTV (Channel 613) for Sunday at 7pm, and it says Lucas Oil Truck Racing...

If you go to the CBS Sports Network website, its on there, but only says its 30 minutes long. I would think it will change.

I don't get the channel either in BC. Why don't they just get it over with and remove SX from speed too so that we get no coverage at all just like in the dark ages!

In the Pacific NW if you have Comcast cable the CBS Sports channel is 725. I have it here in NW Oregon.

Once half of you learn a business concept, you would understand why some networks cover certain sports

I don't own a TV so as long as it's ON tv at all, I know I will get to download it the following day, like always. Good enough for me!

Cant wait!

@carlsbad- interesting thought for another player to throw their hat in the ring for bidding on the outdoor coverage. We can olny hope so, for it will take our sport up another notch.

What a bunch of BS putting it on a 7PM west and 10PM eastern time you might as well wait until the next day and get it on utube where you see the entire motos instead of some hacked up commercial laden 10min motos . Personally I am paying the 20 dollars and watching it live, who needs that kind of delayed action.

How is moving the time from 4pm to 7pm PST a "sensational upgrade"? Lol. The crap these fools say...

Profile Picture
pbody wrote: 5:16pm September 27, 2012

Upgrade meaning that 7:00pm PST is considered prime-time and sells more to advertisers.

Also, we are in EDT/PDT, duh!

mxdad57 wrote: 8:57pm September 27, 2012

thats not an upgrade! invited my sons and son in laws over to watch thinking it would be 6pm. who wants to stay up that late to watch?

Profile Picture
magoofan wrote: 9:23pm September 27, 2012

Yesterday it was 6pm EST, today it's 10pm EST. My cable guide listing for this channel doesn't show it at either time. This should be awesome.

What is wrong with you people, Why can't you just be happy that we get to watch the race at whatever time. And if you don't get that channel then go cry to your cable company. Some of you need to go to a different sport

@ CZmark, I think the reverse is actually more accurate. MX sports has probably pitched their little hearts out to all the networks, and Fuel / NBC sports is (the only one) who made an offer. Clearly, hacking up the viewing times for the network's conveinience, Olympic coverage (that we won't have to worry about for four more years) and oddball channel spots isn't what we as fans had hoped for, and I would hazard to guess that MX sports would've liked a better / bigger deal as well, but at least we have it televised. Changing the nationals from Sunday to Saturday didn't help either (maybe as the "hollywood" factor fades from the series, we can change back). We went from competing with 16 pro football games on Sunday, to competing against A LOT more college games on Saturday. There are only so many networks with (pro) football contracts, leaving a lot of subsidiaries with time to kill (or fill) on Sunday............an interesting situation at the least. I hope MX and the fans will eventually benefit from whatever is coming down the pike.
