Tommy Hahn Injury Update
Friday, August 17, 2012 | 6:35 PMHonda Press Release
Torrance, CA: On Thursday, August 16, Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Tommy Hahn was involved in a crash while practicing at a track in Texas. Hahn sustained a back injury, which will take him out of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship for the remainder of the 2012 season. Hahn who is filling in aboard the factory-prepared CRF450R has put together noteworthy finishes throughout the season, grabbing his first podium finish in moto one last weekend at Southwick.
“I’m thankful that it wasn’t worse,” stated Hahn, who was released from the hospital late Thursday night. “I was out practicing when I swapped out, sending me over the bars. I’m bummed I will not be able to finish out the season but am grateful for the opportunity that Team Honda Muscle Milk has given me and want to thank the team and all my sponsors for their support.”

holy shit this guy has bad luck. but im starting to wonder if luck is anything to do with it. maybe he should hang the boots up before he ends up in a wheelchair.
let me guess you ride a quad bermblaster?
@ Wil Hope your brother makes a speedie recovery. Good luck tommorrow hope its not a mud fest for you.................Other poster is ridiculous. One in every crowd.!
Right after awesome ride he had:/ get well soon! Hope he could get a decent ride for next year!
Hahn bro's are some resilient SOB's. He'll be back strong....
If I had finished a moto in 3rd, taking the rest of the summer off would be just what I'd do. If I already signed with a different team for 2013 (like Rockstar) I'd for sure take the rest of the summer off with pay, awesome deal. Sounds like a workers comp case, guy says I'm hurt, doctor says take summer off it wont heal, they never say what he hurt in his back, just that it needs months to heal? But I no nothing, arm chair rookie here.
One report said he broke his T6, broke that one myself years ago, sucks getting landed on. Should take 3 to 4 months depending on how bad it's broke. Get well soon T Hahn.
Get well soon Tommy!! Don't mind the fools who know nothing Will. You Hahn brothers are pretty tough and come back stronger!!
