Obviously you've never played MX Unleashed otherwise you'd know breaking is a big part of scrubbing. LOL j/k but seriously a little tap of the front break wouldn't hurt...

wtf double post? is that my reward for getting the holeshot??
spot on on the importance of being on your toes.
dragged a foot off a booter last year, gnarly crash similar to windhams ending in broken femur, and the end of my motocross career. (for now)
In his day.. he kinda muled his way kinda like Stanton.. never say die.. solid 5th place guy... his scrubs are kinda turn down whips... This is the next generation.. the next level.. let the kids show u how it's done... Ur now a top 40 guy... trying to adapt to what the fast guys are doing.
Damn. I'm a novice and If I tried this, I'd eat shit. Great job explaining though.
only james stewart can teach the scrub, @whiskey throttle stanton was a champion not a 5th place guy
He said a couple of times that the Scrub was used to scrub off speed. I thought the point was to get the bike into the air earlier on the jump face and not riding the bike to the lip. Aren't you supposed to leave the face of the jump early so that you don't go as high and get back on the ground sooner? It's not about scrubbing off speed, right?...more like scrubbing off air time?
