Mini bike week got started on Monday with the fastest kids in the world taking to the Mammoth circuit. The favorite for the week, Adam Cianciarulo, was throwing down burning fast laps all day long. His best time was a 2:06, which I hope was an result of him cutting the track because that is faster than anyone went during the pro weekend. He backed that up with some 2:10 and 2:12 laps and those are still smoking fast. There's no question Adam is the real deal and those in attendance this week are in for a real treat just watching him ride.

There are a bunch of fast kids up on the mountain this week including Tristan Miller, Justin Hoeft and Stilez Robertson. While Monday was spent getting jetting and gearing figured out [a daunting task on mini bikes with carburators] the gates start dropping on motos on Tuesday.
