2-2 would be good. I wonder if he will have a carbon fiber brace like Barcia?

Awesome that he's racing. If his wrist isn't 100% he should back it down and take a top five if necessary. I want to see he when he comes to Southwick.

This thread is gonna blow up. Haha good for spectating though. Was gonna be superrrrr boring with Mr. Super pumped winning.

I guarantee you that JS is not showing up to go 2-2. He would stay home if he didn't think he could win. There is no reason for him to race if he has to just ride around.

I remember taking a pretty good spill back on my 80cc racing days....Perris Raceway I beleive it was....I could have sworn I snapped my wrist....couldnt move it for a couple days....then by the next weekend it was all good....I am sure JS7 and Co. wouldnt be out there if there was any hairline fractures....so he probably just sprained it.....hope its all good!!

Glad to hear this because I really thought he was going to use this as an excuse to get out of doing the nationals. Now if he wins the next 12 motos in a row he will be even with Dungey.

Excellent news. This serries was going to be way less fun to watch with either JS or RD not in the races. I think he will come back ready to race and is not interested in 2nd place. I do believe RD will continue to get better on the KTM and James will have his hands full trying to beat him every race. Let it begin!

Havoc crashes alot ...always has ..but he has ALWAYS been a tuff sucker when it comes to gettin back on the bike ...only liars or idiots who have never actually ridden or crashed would say different. Glad he is ok and if anyone ANYONE thinks Dungey OR the brand spankin new KTM is bulletproof ..sorry..they are not. Everybody crashes and everything breaks. .... Weirder stuff has happened....I hope they both stay up from here on out ..if Havoc even gets 2 seconds ,it is still far from over....and to everyone saying he was done or needs to quit blah blah...you now look like the dummys you are. @mxchampion ..i bet you aren't ,weren't and never will be....

It seems like the majority of the "repliers" will bite on almost any BS that is thrown their way. In reality, to see the series resume a Stewy 1,1 and Dungey 2,2 format provides no entertainment value whatsoever.

Profile Picture
Chowderhead wrote: 7:55pm June 7, 2012

Just another last ditch attempt by James, to whiskey throttle into Dungey, just like he loves to do to Reed, and blame it on his bum wrist.

Profile Picture
BD25 wrote: 7:56pm June 7, 2012

I repectfull disagree Osteo, the show that James and Ryan put on in Texas was very entertaining! Two of the best at their craft going at it for 30+2 kept us all on our feet cheering them on. The two of them have totally differant styles of racing, the way James quickly knifes thru traffic looking to get away. The way Ryan lets the race come to him, patiently moving his way to the front. It is a chess match between the two of them, which stratagy will succeed? If James gets away will Ryan try and match his pace or with the points lead will he be his calulated self? Ah the Great Outdoors....

cloverdale wrote: 8:25pm June 7, 2012

WOW....only one anti James post....if this was VITAL every post would be a James bash fest.....bottom line is that if you watch a race to be entertained (99.9% of us) then you should be glad we have James!!!!

Profile Picture
thetoothperry116 wrote: 8:48pm June 7, 2012

Well thats Vitals rep. Everyone on there is better at typing then actually riding.

Profile Picture
tonewall wrote: 8:57pm June 7, 2012

@osteo i think you wouldn't know good racing if it bit you in the a*s and @chowderhead ...kind hard to whiskey throttle into anybody behind you ...which you'd know has been the case if you actually watched the races instead of just posing as someone who does...they've raced very clean and even RD5 said he enjoyed it..Havoc will have to run into the couch to hit Reed and hes not blaming his wrist..hes racing....

Dungey only needs to win 4 of the remaining 18 motos and finish 2nd in the rest to be champion.

I have a question why is it okay to some one here for james to be out and dungey to go 1-1 for the rest of the season but its somehow less entertaining for stewart to go 1-1?

Profile Picture
mxchampion wrote: 11:07pm June 7, 2012

It was a troll guys. i was just saying that to see what you guys would say. thats good news to know that he is ok

Profile Picture
jeramey wrote: 11:12pm June 7, 2012

dungey needs james out there for the sake of next year if he just gets to skate away with it this summer and not be pushed i dont see that helping him next year when hes having to race everyone again so for me im stoked that james is back in because them 2 are the only race in the 450's right now props for the 250 guys for softening the blow to the 450 class

Profile Picture
mit12 wrote: 11:17pm June 7, 2012

James is a great rider, no one can take that away from him. When it comes to all out speed I believe that Villopoto is only one rider that can match his speed. I hope that James can get his crashing under Controll. Just think MXD team with Dungey, Stewart and either Barcia, Tomac or Bagget!

It is difficult to figure out who will win the overall on Saturday ....

tricky wrote: 12:55am June 8, 2012

mx champion, u shouldn't say things like that on here, you'll get a bad rep, there's enough arguments on here let alone trolling for one, great news JS is back, I hope he goes 1-1 just to prove a pt., but that is unrealistic with the injury, I know I know, the RD fans are gonna say it's an excuse, it's not, even if he podiums with the wrist I think thats a good day, I said RD would win this weekend, hope not, I highly doubt Reed will be back, we'll see what happens when the gate drops!

LOL @ BillC! "I am way behind." But always have a minute or two for the old MX forum. True fan there. I know the feeling. I spend way too much time here. But, what the hell. Cheap entertainment, definatley broadens the MX knowledge, and I am very impressed with some of the people here and the amount of MX/SX info. that floats around in thier brain. I thought I was a know it all, I really did. Key word-DID. After a year or so here, i will admit that my overall knowledge of this sport pales in comparison to some of you. And it really surprizes me. Some of you guys are walking dictionaries, and my hat is off to you. And then there are some of the others LOL again. Thanks, guys for sharing your thoughts.

BillC, I tell you I liked James long ago when he raced the Nats and was fan friendly. I always said all I wanted from him was to race the Nats and act like he enjoys the sport and it's been nice seeing him smile and seemingly enjoying himself out there. I would rather have seen Dungey winning 4 close motos, but I'll take James winning if the racing is as close as it was in those 4 motos. Then once again, he was smiling after the races and gave Dungey props for pushing him so hard. The old James would have talked smack about how he's got Dungey covered. It will take a long run of this for me to actually root for James but if he keeps this up you won't see me bad mouthing him.
