Your Collection: 74 YZ125 & 77 250
Monday, February 20, 2012 | 8:20 PMThis weeks collection comes to us from Dave Cameron.
These poor forgotten and un-loved machines have been brought back to health. It's amazing what $5000 can do to correct decades of mistreatment and neglect. I had forgotten how small the original YZ 125 was. It's only 176 lbs.

That YZ looks yummy! What a sexy beast!- and the Pursang too. Nice iron!
Great old beasts! Love the 'Taco's 'lay-down rear shocks...!
Look's like it's getting some riding time too. Yeah!
Very nice! The Bul has to be at least a '78. The '77's shocks were not cantilevered like this. I had a '77 370 and the dealers handed you a set of long S&W shocks to replace the nasty Betors, as soon as you left the showroom. The best forks I had ridden on up to that point!
I swear man that's got to be my old blue frame Bultaco 250 I rode in the late 70s.
My 1977 Bultaco 250 Pursang Model 192 Mk. 10 has been professionally modified for long travel rear suspension. It caused me to have to cut and fit the side # plates because the mounts were moved. The original frame on the 77' would have been silver. The 78's were blue with a high mounted pipe. Thanks for the positive comments! DC
