Agree, awesome seeing these guys trying to jump combos for the first time. Based on what I see here San Diego will be the Tomac, Seely show. They look miles ahead better than the rest. Looked like all the Suzukis guys were struggling to get the triples out of the corners. The Honda guys made it look easy. Yes I'm suggesting the Hondas may have more motor. Just saying.

i absolutely loved this. even though it was probably just their opening laps out there; to see them looking almost mortal and making mistakes shows how difficult it is. musquins case wasnt to bad, but davalos and anderson were pretty hard hitting. hell, in that section i would feel like a hero just to do the double out of the corner and then the two triple's. casing a triple like that for most of us with our STOCK suspension would mean saying by by to our wrist or ankles and having a crossbar pad for lunch! seeley and tomac seemed spot on and just going for it.
was tomac the only one that even hit the triple outside of that one main line; i didnt notice?
is it just me or do the Honda 250's look like they have a shitload more power than the others out there this year?
I love watching practice and seeing guys working on different combos etc...great feature.
Man, Alessi gets more track time than anyone it seems...He pretty much rides every press day and still blows it on raceday

What happened to the teams rotating for press day? Alessi sure has been in quite a few of them.
Alessi needs all the practice he can get.
I'm gonna throw this out there. By the end of the season, Gavin Faith will be easily running in the top 10. He looks better and better at every round.

Ya i really dont get this press day sitch. Seems like a pretty big advantage to have an extra days practice... Wow Tomac is a BOSS! That guy is gonna KILL it on the 450's. When that day comes...

Wow! I cannot get enough of this! Please let this be a recurring segment. My only request is to change the name of the link. I almost didn't watch it thinking it was the stupid arrow going around the track.
Also, keep up the GoPro segments. I love Cole Seely's this week. I know what it feels like to holey a main and lead a few laps! Great stuff!!!

It didn't look like it was the motor holding the Suzuki back, it looked like he didn't have enough spring in his suspension setup. I've snuck/walked into a couple Thursday and Friday Supercross practice sessions and they are always very fun to watch.

Finally a clip with no frappin' music, just horsepower! Way to break away from the norm with music and rap crap audio on bike clips. Hope you stick with it Racer X. We'll listen to the radio if we want music.

What a pleasant surprise. This is a great "hors d'oeuvres" for the Main Course tonight.
There is so much appreciation to gain by the fan-base to see the expertise that comes in small increments through practice before hand, to be applied on raceday.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT RACER X!!! This is the type of thing that will take your site to a new level! We as fans/riders need much more of this stuff as well as many more video interviews, etc! I also agree with the above poster about the idiotic music usually associated with these videos drowning out the sound of the bikes which is what we love, not some black rapper running his filthy mouth.
