550 dollars?!?!?!?! Jeezus. Im just gonna run my 2 year old A'stars.
3 years to copy the tech 10??? at $550 im stickin with the best boot the tech 10 !, at $300ish they would sell millions at 550 alpinestars will still rule, and guess what FOX get ready for the Tech 11, bahhahahaa
screw these designer boots. Gaerne sg10/12s or sidis are the best boots made.
$550 Really. If you didn't have to pay Ricky and Phil $250.
I will stick with my Tech 8's
They aren't copying tech 10's, SIDI has had this type of boot out for almost a decade, both companies are trying to recreate that type of boot. Its the reason I rode in SIDI's back in 03 till now, safety and comfort with no break in time.
Great job fox in ripping off somebody's design!

They do look nice, but they really look like sidis in many respects. I think fox may have some patent issues here.
$550.00 Holey Canoli ! You'd have to be RC to Afford it..
RC could easily drop 20-30 lbs and come out and finish top 5 in the nats.......Heck, he may even be able to run with RV and co. if he really got into it......$550 is pretty steep for boots.....wow....
Is it just me or did everyone look really uncomfortable while riding with it? Maybe its just that different...
And I just picked up a new pair of Berik's, I think ill stick with them!
Glad my SG10's have held up for 4yrs now and don't look like I'll need to be replacing them anytime soon.
$550 suggested retail means a selling price of probably $425+...still whoppers of money in this economy.
I remember the RC Berrik boots. Not going to take RC's word on boots. Waste of money and a bad experience.
"they're really light" How light? "these things are really amazing" now I'll try them out and see how amazing.

How about a story on the Nike Boots? What is new or different about them?
How about you guys actually go down to your local dealership when they come out and then start talking about how bad these boots are. The F3 is clearly not the best boot in overall performance but that is no reason the instinct cant be a great boot. And about the $550 price, you guys do know that Gaerne's are $550, SIDI's are $525 and Alpinestar's are $575. Gaerne's are great. they are comfortable, strong, and they last pretty good. Sidi's are strong as well, have great movement, and the soles on the SR's last FOREVER and when you impact your foot the shock absorption is unbelievable. But as for alpinestars, the movement sucks, they weaken quicker than Gaerne's and Sidi's, and the soles shred so fast it is unreal. I'm not saying that the instinct is going to be the best boot ever but i'm positive that it will be better than alpinesars, and cheaper.
