Watch: GNCC This Sunday on VERSUS
Morgantown, W. Va. - Loretta Lynn Ranch played host to not one, but TWO action-packed days of motorcycle racing as part of the first-ever double-header in GNCC Racing history. The three-way championship battle was closer than ever heading into Friday's race and Charlie Mullins needed to best his international rivals-New Zealand's Paul Whibley and Australia's Josh Strang-in order to seal the XC1 title on day one. Tune into VERSUS this Sunday, December 25, at 5:00 p.m. to see what caused Mullins to finish with a season low 14th place, giving Whibley and Strang another shot at the title on day two of the double-header at Loretta Lynn Ranch.
Stick around for the final round at Loretta's, as Sunday's racing marked another chapter in the GNCC history books when Charlie Mullins finally secured the 2011 GNCC Championship. Mullins is the first American-born champion since 2004, and the first to ever race through the GNCC Youth ranks all the way to the top spot in the XC1 pro class. Don't miss the emotional conclusion to Charlie's decade-long championship journey as he is crowned the fastest off-road motorcycle racer in the country, immediately following Friday's race at 5:30 p.m. on Christmas day.
