British SX LIVE This Weekend
While the AMA Motocross and Supercross seasons may have come and gone for 2011. Supercross in the British form is still alive and well and ready to kick off for its 15th season in the UK at the home of British Supercross Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena on Saturday October 22, 2011.
For the first time ever Future West and Pulse8 Media will invite the world to watch round 1 of the Future West ACU British Supercross Championships LIVE and in HIGH DEFINITION online in pay-per-view using multiple HD cameras to transmit the high energy action around the globe. The event can be purchased at an early bird price of $9.99 USD (See www.fwsx.com for price details in your country.) With the exception of Northern Ireland and Scotland blackout will apply for UK residents.
The production will cover all day preceedings at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, England on Saturday October 22nd. The pay-per-view portion of the program will begin at 3:00pm EST ending at 6:30pm EST. (US)
Unlike it’s big American cousin the British Supercross Championship takes place in the intimate confines of oversized arena venues across the UK. While the venues are smaller than the AMA Supercross series they are bigger than the US Arenacross series. The action inside the arena’s is just as good if not better than any Supercross action anywhere in the world. With 10 finals taking place over the evening on Dirt Wurx prepared tracks the British fans are also closer to the action then any other Supercross events.
Pulse8 Media CEO Paul Musselle commented “We’re thrilled to be able to bring the high octane action of British Supercross to a global audience via our Live Web stream direct from Sheffield, England. We’ll be bringing the action right into the homes of Supercross fans around the world and we’re confident they’ll love it!”
British Supercross has become a proven and tested breeding ground for up and coming Supercross stars of the future with it’s ultra unique inclusion of Youth and Amateur competition which will all be showcased during the coverage of the event.
