PulpMX and Tech One Designs to Support Evgeny Mikhaylov

Friday, August 12, 2011 | 8:15 PM

PulpMX and Tech One Designs are proud to reveal their collaboration in support of our Russian friend, Evgeny Mikhaylov for the remaining National rounds. Regular PulpMX readers are fully aware of our excitement over the Kraor Meat and TLR Performance backed Russian and his participation in the US motocross series. We are also excited to announce that FLy Racing and X-Brand Goggles have joined us in helping Evgeny's journey to the remaining rounds go as comfortably as possible.

Tech One Designs' owner, Jonathan Lee adds, "We here at Tech One are excited to support Evgeny in his efforts for the remainder of the 2011 season.  Despite the challenges of being in a foreign country and facing the world's toughest competition for the first time, his motivation and tenacity have been proven by his impressive success thus far.  We hope that our support will further aid him in achieving his goals this year."

Evgeny has been very excited about this support and when asked how it changes his view of his competitors, he replied, "I must break them". (not really...)

Go Evgeny!

One of the most impressive things about motocross racers is their unusual "brotherly love" and support of each other between races. They can be fierce competitors on the track, but, when the race is over, they will give the shirts off their backs, their tools, their parts, and even lend their bikes to other racers without hesitation. I have seen many winners spend zero time gloating over a victory. Instead they devote all their conversation to encouraging a racer who can't forgive himself for a poor performance. It's a rare and beautiful thing to see such comradery among competitors in a sport. I'm sure I speak for thousands of motocross enthusiasts all across this country. Welcome to America, Evgeny! Our home is your home. Our family is your family!
