Mike Johnson: I was looking for a partner to do the series, my regular partner Rex Cameron couldn’t make the first round, Robert Hansen spoke with me about possible teaming up with his efforts back at 09’s Baja 1000 so I spoke with him and he hooked me up with Steve. Steve has many class wins and is one of the fastest 30 year olds in Baja. I’m very excited about our chances at getting another title. This first race is a great way to see how we work together. We will be looking at other riders to team up with that will benefit our team effort for the longer races in the series.

Steve Garnett: I’m very happy this opportunity came up as Robert Hansen and I where only scheduled to race the San Felipe 250 in class 21( Motorcycles 450cc and below) but Mike came alone and combining our efforts will allow us to race the entire Score series.
The San Felipe 250 is far as I’m concerned sets the tone for the series as it is in many cases tougher then the 500 because of all the sand woops, it can really tax you physically.
