Victory for Ramon in France

Steve ramon took overall victory in Lacapelle Marival, France, this past weekend as the MX1 and MX2 GP riders came together for this international event.
The track was in great condition for a full day’s action that would see the top MX2 racers really pressure the MX1 guys, but in the end three consistent rides awarded Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1 rider, Steve ramon, overall honors.
“Over the winter I have just been riding in the sand, and now when I arrive at the hard-pack circuits I feel I have lots to improve on,” commented Ramon. “In the opening moto my start was off, and coming through the field was not easy. The second moto was a good start, and all race myself and Desalle had a good battle, that was fun. And then the third moto was a mix, I grabbed the holeshot, but then De Dycker got passed, and then he pulled off! Not sure what happened to him. Then battled with Desalle again, until he had a technical fault. So I took victory, but I know on this type of circuit I still have work to do, both on set up and myself.”
Overall Results
1 Steve Ramon
2 Tommy Searle
3 Clement Desalle
4 Arnaud Tonus
5 Ken De Dycker
6 Joel Roelants
7 Matiss Karro
8 Nico Aubin
9 Shaun Simpson
10 Loic Larrieu
