Changes Made for Racer X Online IE Users
Wednesday, January 5, 2011 | 10:55 AM
Since the new Racer X Online website has launched, we've received a lot of feedback that it's been running slowly on Internet Explorer browsers. Impulse Studios has been working feverishly to remedy this problem, and we pushed through a major update last night. If you were an IE user who was experiencing a sluggish site, can you let us know at [email protected] if the site is working better for you? If you could let us know what browser and version you're using, that'll help us as we get this problem straightened out.
We're also getting some reports of video problems, and we're working hard on fixing them. We'll keep you up to date as we work toward the cure.
Thanks to everyone who has provided us with constructive feedback. It really helps us understand the problems people are having, which in turn helps us make the site work better.

You guys did a great job of improving a great site, but there are a couple other tweaks that would make the site more pleasant, please get rid of the see thru field on the Breaking News and Features, it is quite annoying or switching away from the whole rising picture title would be an improvement.
You know, it is working worlds better today. Guess I didn't notice at firstsince it's easier to recognize the negatives rather than the positives. Great job!
the new site sucks everything is slow and unless you have the latest computer upgrades and a comp genius to much stuff going on at once i think. remember the boomers not all are comp smart we just want to click and watch or read not wait and wait and wait for things to load. we are 40 to 60 years old and slow to learn new tricks. had to have someone tell me ie is internet explorer. please fix it.
