Outdoor testing?? Seems odd.... Lets see if he can make it more than 5 races before he gets hurt.

Im not a fan after watching "moto" series on fuel tv. Isnt he the guy who wants to be a fmx'r?

kinda funny seeing Short's MXDN number plate still on the truck. That is definitely the closest thing to stardome factory Honda has had in a few years so I guess they want to keep it around!

Dude Grant doesnt get hurt all the time. Broc Hepler tops the list and Townley is a close second. The only thing is that I dont know what the difference btw Short and Grant would be. I think may be Short cost more but really I think Honda would have been better with Shorty. Theres more reasons to splits than both camps say but Canard & Grant are 2 different personalities and I dont know that Grant will get along with Canard. Shorty would have got along with Canard but I guess we will see. Btw Grant and Canard I would say Canard would have better results.

True but when was the last time Grant finished a hole series?? Many years. What Honda gets with Grant that Short did not give them was a threat to win at any time at any race. Grant is very fast just not there every week.

BillC, you hit the nail on the head. I think championshipwise though, Short is the better bet. Both riders will benefit from the change though, albeit for completely different reasons. Honda used to be a title driven team / company and found a way to make championships happen. I wonder what changed that made that will to win go away. As far as results go, it will be interesting to see who rises to the challenge of "team leader". 25 years ago, it pushed the Icon & RJ to sweep all titles and lay waste to the rest of the field.

Yes, Grant is injury-prone, he's also very inconsistent with his racing. I think with the budget cuts, Honda took the best guy at the best price that could potentially offer a win or podium here or there, but they are banking on Canard as the rider. He reminds me of Millsaps in some respects with his inconsistency. I agree though, Honda used to be "the" team, but once they kicked RC to the curb, it all went downhill.

dgizzy, I am beginning to think you dont even watch moto. Grant hasnt finished a series in forever it seems like. He can pull off the occasional win, be he never finnished a series.

New season, new oppertunities. Quit hating on JG33.

Hatin' and stating facts are too different things, my friend. JG's a great rider, just injury prone.

If Honda has a red light RPM holeshot device as rummered with shorty you would have to think JG33 get that tech too. It may be a different stroy with clear track in front of the 33, injury and championship wise. JG's not exactly my guy either but he's got the skills for sure.

nice to see JG33 back on a honda where he belongs. Say hello to a championship.

Yes why is it when ya state FACTS you get called a hater?? shilosky191.... it could happen... I mean he has the speed but I still say that a championship is a streach IMO... he would need to be Waaaaaaaaaay more consitant... Some times he gets a bad start and thats it he gets 12th... Guys like RV..RD...JS.. Find a way to get to the front every race one way or another.

I hate to see Josh on a red bike and not on a blue bike. Now that he is a daddy I think he is living in California, thus no more JGR. To bad his old lady and kid wouldn't move to North Carolina.

Is he going to be kicked out of the Mullisha because he has a factory ride?! What will the Mullisha have to complain about?

I like Josh...didn't use to....i think he's a real fast rider that COULD get it done IF he used his head more on certain tracks at certain times...like RC said " U win championships on ur bad days"...we'll see...time WILL tell......Go red!!!!!!

You are all idiots for saying jg gets injured or injury prone. Every single rider gets hurt all the time, everyone rips on stewart reed, truth is who doesnt, dungey, rc, no one is liek them. He has done a few championships going to all the the races, this guy says he is a waste because he won one sx main, your a fool. Glad short can go so long without being injured, other than last year sx where he hurt his leg, and this outdoors, but your boy wont win any championships when regal passes him every race. Everyone gets hurt.

Is it just me? He looks really fast and smooth in his cornering. Sure I know I don't know anything, just like the rest of you. But If I were a team manager, He would have been at the top of my list.
