Your Collection: 1974 Honda XL175
Monday, October 18, 2010 | 12:43 PMThis week's collection comes from California's Shawn Ralls:
"This is my 1974 Honda XL175 I purchased from the original owner four years ago in the condition shown. He actually rode it off-road numerous times back in the day, yet it survived with 99 percent of the O.E.M. parts intact. It currently has less than 1,500 miles on it and looks and runs like new. Not sure I’d want to hammer this thing on the trails as my ball point pen has stiffer fork springs than the bike, not to mention the seat is more Barcalounger than motorcycle."

I actually own one of these, it was my mum's, I'm gonna have a go at restoring it someday. If I can get it lookin half as good as that I'll be happy. Awesome bike.
Those were the prettiest bikes back in the day, all those honda's. I had 73'-74' SL-70's, 76' XL350, and a 74 '175 yamaha that was pretty nice. Bring back the 175.
