On the Boxx Signs Josh Grant

On The Box, LLC is excited to announce the signing of Josh Grant to an Exclusive Licensing Agreement for the purpose of designing, marketing and distributing licensed products to the mass retail market only. Gaining the rights to represent Josh is yet another example of the sport’s most talented athletes joining forces to provide an outlet for the future development of the sport by making On The Box, LLC products easily accessible to the numerous fans of Josh, as well as the company’s other top athletes, in their favorite retail locations across the country.
With the signing of Josh Grant, it will provide On The Box, LLC with yet another top motocross rider and allow for the positioning of the company as the leading provider of all related licensed products to the mass retail market. The company’s goal is to raise the awareness of these athletes in the mainstream market helping their clientele transcend the sport by gaining additional exposure for their athletes in the mainstream mass retail market.
Josh Grant has established his position as a top competitor starting with his amateur career winning nine titles including two titles in the 125 and 250 Pro/Sport Class. Turning pro in 2004 Josh earned a top ten placement in the 125 National MX Series continuing his career in the Lites class with such accomplishments as a US Open SX Lites victory in 2006 as well as a pair of 3rd overall finish in both the AMA East Coast Lites Series and AMA MX Lites Series. Josh maintained his overall position while competing in the Lites Series through the 2008 season, including a Bronze Medal in the Summer X Games Moto X.
Josh made the transition to the Premier Class in 2009 and proved himself a true talent by achieving 1st Place at the 2009 opening event at Anaheim 1, being the first and only rider to win his initial race in his first Premier Class event. Josh ended his first season by posting a fourth place overall in the Premier SX season. He continued his success in the MX Premier Class by winning his first overall title at the Red Bud MX National and ended up with an impressive fourth place overall finish despite suffering a season ending injury while holding second overall in the series before being injured.
Josh enters the 2010 Season competing for JGRMX aboard a Yamaha YZ 450F and is looking forward to starting this season in the Premier Class and will focus on continuing to improve his position as a top rider in the Premier Class.
Josh is represented by Bob Walker and the firm of Connexions Sports & Entertainment, a leading agency in the motocross and entertainment field.
