Nick Wey, 450 Supercross, TiLUBE Brown Motorsports
This year Nick will be on the TiLUBE Brown Motorsports team sponsored by Team Babbitts Kawasaki. After talking with several different teams this fall (during the "silliest" silly season ever), this deal came together rather late. Everything is moving forward now and Nick is excited to be on the line at Anaheim 1 on his brand new Kawasaki KX 450F.
Forrest Butler, Owner and Manager, BBMX
In 2010 Butler Brothers MX team will be in its seventh year since its inception. On their squad they have Jason Thomas back again on the 450. In the 250 class they will take Ben Evans and Bobby Kiniry on the West Coast and Lucas Crespi and Kyle Keylen on the East Coast. The team has a new title sponsor, BTO Sports, and they will be riding Suzuki's after a long history with Honda.
Ed Moreland, Government Relations - AMA
Ed has his hands full these days working on behalf of AMA members to protect their right to ride. Access to public land is being denied to motorcyclist in huge land grabs under Wilderness Protection programs. In addition to his Government Relations position Ed also serves as Vice President of the Commission for Mobility, Transport, Road Safety and Public Policy of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). Additionally, Ed serves on the Federal Highway Administration's newly formed Motorcycle Advisory Committee and the Transportation Research Board's Committee on Motorcycles Mopeds. Ed has been an avid motorcycle rider for over 25 years and has been with the association for eleven years.
Josh Herrin, Daytona SportBike Racer - Graves Yamaha Team
Herrin finished up the 2009 season with four wins in a row, throw in a few 2nd place finishes before that and Herrin was in the one or two spot seven out the last eight races of 2009. Josh is entering his fifth year and and fourth full season with the Graves Yamaha Motorsports Team. He rides the No. 8 Yamaha YZF-R6 in the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike class and from what we are hearing he has been flying during his recent tests for the 2010 series.
Robert Blandford, President - NESBA
