Red Bull Last Man Standing Wins Xtremey Award
Costa Mesa, CA - THROTTLE ENTERTAINMENT is pleased to announce Red Bull Last Man Standing wins “Best Off-Road/Enduro” Film of the Year at the 2009 XTremey’s last night. The film, starring David Knight, Taddy Blazusiak, Geoff Aaron and Chris Birch documents one of the toughest extreme motocross races in the world. 100 riders started this competition and by the end, only two of them finished. This was a co-production between Red Bull North America and Throttle Entertainment.
“It is very exciting and further proof that people really like our brand of storytelling in the world of “Extreme” Enduro Action Sports” said Jeff Pakosta, the Director and Executive Producer of the film. Last year, Throttle also won the “Best Enduro” Film of the Year for their film, Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rally. The XTremey Awards were started in 2000 by Docy Andrews, President of Impact Video Distributing. The idea was to do something special to honor the tremendous efforts of video producers and athletes who have a passion for extreme sports. Since that time, the Impact XTremey Awards has grown into a nationwide awards show with hundreds of extreme sports attendees.
