DMXS Radio Tonight
March 25, 2009 5:21pm
Suzuki / Subaru’s Travis Pastrana didn’t qualify for the main event in St. Louis on a track that he designed, but the fans were still supportive and were treated to some typical Travis drama and excitement right down to the last lap. The hugely popular Nitro Circus show on MTV has once again vaulted Travis into the stratosphere with new fans, but we will somehow get him to stop causing trouble long enough for an interview tonight.
Yamaha’s Grant Langston has been a true champion even though the Zulu Warrior was unable to defend his outdoor championship last year due to a serious eye condition that also cut short his supercross season. The popular South African never let his injury keep him from a positive outlook and hope for a recovery that would allow him to once again race at the level he was accustomed to. We will hear directly from GL tonight on the possibility of him being on the gate at Glen Helen.
GEICO Powersports / Honda’s Blake "Would you just watch the hair? I work a long time on my hair and you hit it!" Wharton is a breath of fresh air in the sport and his funny and unique personality has new fans jumping on the hair bandwagon. His convincing win last week reminded everyone that the amateur phenom is for ready for primetime too. Blake will join us tonight if he can find a cell phone to use since he is lost his and three bluetooth receivers in his head-mop.
The amateur motocross season is in full swing after the Spring races in Texas over the last two weeks. Vurbmoto.com’s Wes Williams will be on for a full recap including an update on the one of the strangest and most bizarre occurrences in recent memory that involved basically the entire KTM amateur team. We will sift through the rumors and find out what really happened tonight from those that were actually there.
DMXS will be having a special show in the near future on the lead law controversy. Stay tuned and stay involved!
