DMXS Tonight

Amateur racing is the heart and soul of our sport. Every great champion has paid his dues coming through the ranks and there are no short cuts along the way. Malcolm Stewart has the added pressure of being the younger brother of one of the best riders in the world, but he has always stood independently as his own person during James’s ascent to the top. Known more for his prowess as an expert bass fisherman, Malcolm has recently dedicated himself to racing again and earned his first amateur title at Lake Whitney in the Lites B Modified. With an amazing family behind him, and his blazing speed, there are no limits to his potential either.
Pro Circuit/Monster Energy’s Ryan Villopoto showed the pace we have all been waiting for at Dallas last weekend. Coming into the series with an injured wrist, Ryan has had to race himself back up to speed and he reminded the competition why he is running the number one plate with an impressive win. He will join us to talk about the remainder of the season as he also prepares for the outdoors.
I have received a ton of email asking to get Factory Honda / Red Bull’s Ivan Tedesco back on the show and get an update on the very popular, but injured rider. Hot Sauce did not get much seat time on his dream Red Ride before his injury so you know how anxious he is to get back on the gate. Ivan will give us all an update tonight.
SPEED’s Jeff Emig has the best seat in the house every weekend where he calls the race wearing really cool, spiffy shirts. He and Ralph are in boxer shorts below the camera view, but it does get hot in the booth with all those lights. Fro has been doing a great job and adds his unique perspective to every lap. He will break down the season thus far and discuss some of the stuff they don’t have time for on the broadcast.
David Pingree is set to compete in the Supermoto race this weekend at the Navy Moto X World Championships. Ever since his podium last year at the X Games, Ping is rarely seen without the medal around his neck. He is kind of like Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit, he only takes it off for two things. I’m not sure what the hell those two things are, but mowing the yard and grocery shopping are not it. The lovable Ping will give us a preview to San Diego’s hosting of a crazy-ass moto weekend.
