Motosport Xtreme Team Green Grabs 5 Titles at Mini O's

Motosport Xtreme Team Green
Press Release

The 2007 Thor Winter National Olympics was the first race for the new Motosport Xtreme Team Green amateur team, now made up of PJ Larsen, Hunter Hewitt, Dean Wilson and Tyler Sjoberg, and all riders performed well beyond expectations. While the team veteran, Hunter Hewitt, was sidelined due to injury, PJ, Dean and Tyler picked up the slack by bringing home five championships before week’s end.

PJ Larsen proved to be the man to beat in the pro class by racking up two supercross titles in 125 A Mod and 250 A Mod and two outdoor titles in 125 A Stock and 250 A Mod.  PJ also earned the Ironman award at the end of the week.  With Hunter out of commission, PJ was Motosport Xtreme Team Green’s only pro rider for the week. Our thanks go out to the Larsen family for all their hard work and dedication to the team.

In the intermediate classes expectations were big for Tyler and Dean, and both riders showed huge potential heading into the 08’ season. Dean was able to earn his first championship as a Motosport Xtreme Team Green rider on the outdoor track in 250 B Stock and came extremely close to bringing home many more on the supercross track. As for Tyler, after a solid run on the supercross track at the beginning of the week, he sustained a broken collarbone on his first day tackling the motocross track and was forced to sit out the rest of the week. Tyler is currently back home in California healing and is expected to be back on the bike within the next few weeks.
