Red hot Josh Coppins continued his drive to the overall MX1 championship this past weekend in France.  With increasing temperatures on the circuit Du Puy de Poursay, 28,000 spectators endured the sweltering conditions to watch Coppins capture his fourth Grand Prix event this season.

Suzuki’s Steve Ramon managed to keep his momentum going, inching his way up the overall standings. With his strong showing in France he was able to pass rival Kevin Strijbos for second place in the FIM Motocross Championship.  KTM Red Bull’s David Philippaerts currently sits behind Strijbos and is presently the only debutant having been on the podium more than once.

Tune in for this weekend’s Grand Prix of Bulgaria as both the weather and competition heat up at the mid-way point of the season.
