Josh Hansen Wins Stateline Supermoto Challenge
A healthy Josh Hansen demonstrates his versatility and ability to win at the 3rd Annual Stateline Supermoto Challenge. Josh was asked to participate in the event by Kurt Nicoll. Kurt is an avid supermoto rider, and thought Josh has the talent and ability to be competitive aboard a supermoto bike. There is also some talk of Josh participating in this summer’s X Games.
Josh has been recovering from several injuries sustained throughout the West Regional Supercross Lites series, and is preparing for the final West Regional race in Seattle on April 28, 2007. “I have been training harder than ever for the last round, as well as the East/West Shootout in Vegas. It has been frustrating to ride injured, and I want to show everyone what I am capable of. I know what I can do when I am healthy and in shape, so that is the goal for the remaining rounds.”
“I want to thank all of my sponsors and the team for continuing to support me throughout the ups and downs of this season. I want to repay them by running up front and getting them the proper recognition for the support they have provided. I am looking forward to being at the races again and meeting and speaking to the fans.”
