Tonight On Pit Pass Radio
This weekend is the second round of the East Coast Supercross at Saint Louis. On Friday afternoon there will be an open house at West County Powersports in Valley Park, a suburb of Saint Louis. Riders that will be there to sign autographs will include Tim Ferry, James Stewart, Darcy Lange, and more. Tonight we will talk with the Parts Manager Ryan Albin to find out when the riders will show up for the annual open house.
You’ve probably heard the phrase, “We support the sport.” That is a registered trademark that Parts Unlimited owns. They are very involved with motocross at all levels. Tonight the National Sales Manager, Lou Lopez, will talk about why they support our sport so much and give us a little history on their biz. He’s a great guy to talk to so it should be an interesting show.
We recently learned about an organization called “MX for Children.” Their mission is to help Children’s Hospitals across the country. The vision is to create a replicable, sustainable charitable donation program that draws on the growing popularity of motocross. Paul Gross is the founder and will be on the show to talk about what’s on the horizon for them and to give an explanation of how it works.
A while back we had Dan Fager from the Four Stroke Challenge Series and he told us about a sand drag-race series they were holding out at Glamis. They have had a couple of events and he will return to the program to tell us how they went. It’s sick how much money they spend on these machines! We will hear about some of the participants’ ATV’s.
Finally, we will talk a little shop with Larry Mills, president of DP Brakes and Clutches. We met him at Indy a couple weeks ago and he has great products we will talk about on the show.
Tune in for a great show!! www.pitpassradio.com
