Live Webcast from Loretta Lynn’s announcing AMA Team USA at the Motocross of Nations

Morgantown, WV – Next Wednesday night, August 2nd, Racer X Illustrated and DMXSRadio.com will team up to produce a live webcast of the official announcement of AMA Team USA presented by Loretta Lynn’s. The webcast begins at 9 p.m. EST and will highlight the riders selected to represent the United States team competing in the 60th Motocross of Nations this September in England. Who will be the riders selected to race? Only the live and webcast audience will know.

“This webcast will spread the word around the world that AMA Team USA presented by Loretta Lynn’s is coming,” said MX Sports Director, Tim Cotter. “Everyone has been waiting with great anticipation to find out who the team members will be. The only thing we know at the moment is that it will be a great team.”

Fans can listen to the show via MXSports.com and DMXSRadio.com. The webcast will be hosted by Supercross Live!’s Jason Weigandt, and DMXS Radio hosts Kevin Kelly and David Izer.

The webcast will go live from the special AMA Team USA ceremony at the Amsoil Arena at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.

Racer X Films and DMXSRadio.com are also teaming up to bring back MX SportsCenter, the award-winning internet video show airing each morning from Loretta Lynn’s. You’ll find the videos beginning Tuesday morning, August 1, at RacerXFilms.com. Last year’s shows received mass acclaim and earned the AMA Sports Broadcast Journalist of the Year Award.

AMA Team USA presented by Loretta Lynn’s will compete in the 60th Motocross of Nations, which takes place at Matterley Basin in Winchester, Hampshire, Great Britain on September 23 and 24th, 2006.


The 25th Anniversary Air Nautiques/AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn’s is the world’s most prestigious amateur motocross race. Over 23,000 entries attempted to qualify in 33 classes for the event, which begins Monday, July 31st, with motos starting Tuesday, August 1st and concluding on Saturday, August 5th. As proof of the importance of winning an AMA Amateur National Championship, most of today’s top motocross and supercross racers, including Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart, won championships at Loretta Lynn’s before turning pro.
