Team Babbitts, Enxus, Kawasaki rider Josh Demuth will switch to the new Kawasaki KX450F for the remainder of the BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series in the 450cc class.

After the first round in Fort Worth, Texas this past weekend, Josh Demuth finds himself in fourth place with 54 points in the BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series point standings.  There is a three way tie for the lead between Suzuki Fun Center, Troy Lee Design, PPG, Suzuki backed riders Shane Bess and Josh Woods, along with BooKoo, Dallas Honda, Proton Oil rider Tiger Lacy each with 65 points.

When ask why the switch, "The 250 worked good all weekend, I even won the Dash on Saturday," replied Josh Demuth. "However I know the 450 will be better out of the gate and through the whoops. I have won on a 450 before, so I know they work good the entire 20 laps."

Team Babbitts manager Denny Bartz said, "The first thing Josh told me Saturday night after the 450 main event was he wanted a 450. We will do everything we can to provide Josh what he needs to win this championship."

The K&N Filters Bookoo Arenacross Championship Series heads to the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO this weekend, November 11-13, with the Championship Round in Tulsa, OK February 10-12, 2006. BooKoo Arenacross promises to deliver bigger air...better tracks...more speed... For more information please go to www.racearenacross.com (1-817-595-5844).
