An inside look at Team USA Junior’s journey to the Czech Republic for the 2026 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship

For more than twenty years now, young American motocrossers have participated in the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, usually held in Europe. The participants are chosen for their competitiveness, then given a chance to race against other young flyers from all over the world. While it’s not a true Minicycle of Nations, there is a competition between the nations where a country’s best score from each of the three classes—65cc, 85cc, and 125cc—are added up to see which team takes home bragging rights. It’s a huge undertaking, racing on the other side of the world, and also an incredible adventure.
