Pro Circuit has been a notable name in the motocross industry for nearly 50 years. With origins as an exhaust and performance shop, their name quickly grew over the next 20 years as their founder and racing legend, Mitch Payton, started the Peak Antifreeze/Pro Circuit Honda team in 1991. All these years later, it remains the most successful satellite team in all of SMX.

“Running a race team and shop back home in California is a challenge, but I am lucky to have good people at the shop and here on my team,” offered Payton, speaking in front of his team’s big rig in the pits at the 5.11 RedBud National on July Fourth weekend. “Truthfully, my mom focused on the books for years so I could focus on the racing and development more. Now that she’s older, my brother Jim took over that role, and I can really trust him with that. I like having my family involved within the shop.”
