The Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch is headlined by the kids. This is youth sports 101, the big one, the national, the Little League World Series and NCAA tournament of moto. While the next gen is the focus, the truth is that many of the participants fall into the Vet category, and those riders are usually trying to relive their own younger years at the Ranch or chase a dream they never got to make a reality. They also have to do it while managing jobs and family, which the kids don’t have to worry about.
How do you handle both? We asked two Vet riders to tell their stories.
