Check out Friday and Saturday Schedules, Track Map for SMX Playoff 2 in Texas
The second round of the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) Playoffs takes place this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. Each of the three SMX rounds will feature Friday racing and also a Friday Fan Zone, which will consist of a pre-race press conference with a handful of riders in both classes, and fans get to watch and even ask questions. Friday also features free practice for all classes (including this weekend's Supermini World All-Stars), autograph sessions, pit bike racing, and the new SMX Insider Podcast Mashup. That show runs from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and features broadcasters Jason Weigandt, Jason Thomas, James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael, Ryan Villopoto as well as PulpMX's Steve Matthes and Gypsy Tales' Jace McAlpine on stage, taking questions from fans.
Watch the replay of our Friday night podcast mashup from North Carolina.
The Friday Fan Zone will open at 11 a.m. local time and close at 6 p.m. at all three rounds (Central Daylight Time for this weekend). Camping is also allowed at all three SMX events.
On Saturday, the FanFest will open at 8 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. ahead of the 3 p.m. gate drop on the motos.
Note that Friday’s Fan Zone will need a separate ticket as that is different from Saturday’s FanFest activities.
