Justin Barcia Out For AUS-X Open

Monster Energy/Factory Yamaha’s Justin Barcia announced on Instagram today that he is withdrawing from the AUS-X Open scheduled for November 9-10 in Sydney.
“I am really disappointed I won’t be able to make it as I was really looking forward to it but a pressing issue has come up which will keep me from attending,” he wrote in part. “Sorry to my Australian fans & thank you very much for the continued support.”
Even without Barcia on the lineup, the race will have some heavy hitters, including 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Champion Jason Anderson, two-time supercross champion Chad Reed, and four-time SX champ Ryan Villopoto.
