Jeremy Stenberg to Star on VH-1 Reality Show
On January 10th (10 p.m. ET/PT), VH1--home of pop culture TV favorites “Rock of Love” and “Celebrity Rehab,” will premiere “THE X LIFE,” the network’s first foray into the vastly popular and always adrenaline-charged world of action sports.
"The X Life" features vert skater Pierre-Luc Gagnon, BMXer Cory Nastazio, Freestyle Motocrosser Jeremy Stenberg, and each pro’s significant other. Each episode provides up close, candid behind-the-scenes access into each couple’s life while also capturing spectacular highlights of each athlete’s respective sport!
"The stars of action sports, and the women who love them, don't just live life on the edge -- they go beyond it, whether they're on the track, the ramp or just living their lives, and we couldn't be more thrilled to bring that wild ride to VH1," said Jeff Olde, EVP of Original Programming and Production, VH1, in a press release. "'The X Life' couples will bring a real adrenaline rush to TV."
The three couples define different aspects of the action-sports lifestyle. Stenberg and his wife Susie have two children, a great home and live a "crazy, hectic lifestyle." Nastazio is in the later stages of his career and trying to stay at the top of the sport after recovering from a 2004 car accident that left him with a brain hemorrhage and a collapsed lung. Nastazio's girlfriend, Nicole Panattoni, is a reality-TV vet, having appeared on the first season of "America's Next Top Model." Gagnon and his girlfriend, Denise Russo, are at a different point in their lives than the other two couples; they don't have any children and live a "conservative" lifestyle.
Stenberg, a 9-time X Games medalist and one of the sport of freestyle motocross’ true pioneers and innovators, states, “this TV show is going to showcase the sport to people who may have otherwise never, ever heard much about freestyle moto – but....we’re gonna change all that now!”
