HOUSTON  – Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/National Switchgear powered by Munn Racing is proud to announce that FLY Racing will outfit the entire team for the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series. The team is honored that FLY will support its vastly expanded program that includes KTM and will continue a relationship that began in 2008.

FLY Racing’s sponsorship aligns with Shea Racing’s model of loyalty and respect. It’s rare in motocross/supercross that a team and gear company is together for several seasons, let alone four straight years. The FLY designs and quality clothing match the cutting-edge Shea Racing brand logo.

FLY will outfit all six Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/National Switchgear riders who will be announced in the near future. The gear includes the 2011 Evolution and Kinetic lines and the Kinetic helmets. Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/National Switchgear will be the only AMA Supercross Lites team officially running FLY gear.

Shea Racing’s relationship with FLY began during the 2008 season when it had a three-rider AMA Pro Supermoto team. In 2009, it continued when the team moved on to race in the stadiums on the East Coast in AMA Supercross Lites. This past season, FLY was again part of the team when it competed in both AMA Supercross classes.

"Getting Fly Racing on board for the 2011 season was one of my priorities," said team manager Tim Shea. "They have been behind us from the beginning when we had a much smaller program and were new to the scene. For them to continue with us and now outfit six team riders on new KTM race bikes is pretty special. The FLY gear is very cool and they have premium products that will protect our riders. We are honored to work with them again to represent FLY on and off the track."

Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/National Switchgear powered by Munn Racing KTM will make its debut at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series opener on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, California. Make sure to be there to see the team riders outfitted in FLY Racing gear. Keep posted to the team at www.sheamoto.com.
