MXDesignz.com/Shea Racing Takes On Daytona

  • MXDesignz.com/Shea Racing Takes On Daytona
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – In the midst of the infamous Daytona Bike Week, Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing is getting ready for the outdoor motocross-style Daytona Supercross this Saturday night. This will be the first 450 Supercross class appearance at Daytona for team riders Jason Langford and Teddy Parks, while their 250 Lites East Coast teammate Vernon McKiddie has run the same class here before.

Parks has been to Daytona before, though as a rookie last year in the Lites Class. This season, he moved up to the premier 450 Supercross Class and is ready to take to the longest, roughest supercross track on the circuit. This is the first-ever appearance at the Daytona Supercross for rookie Jason Langford who moved up to the Supercross Class two weeks ago in Indianapolis. Both riders have made every night program so far this season. And both will be competing on Kawasaki KX450F race bikes, with Parks racing the number 247 and Langford number 804.

McKiddie has been to Daytona before, earning a spot in the night program in the Lites Class. With support from a professional, well-managed team in MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing, he expects his results to improve. McKiddie has made both night programs in the East Coast Region rounds run thus far this season. He will be on his #129 Kawasaki KX250F.

“Daytona is the true test of a man in Supercross,” said Tim Shea, team manager. “Besides the final round in Las Vegas, this round is a not-to-miss race for both competitors and fans due to its long history, the famed Daytona International Speedway venue and the extreme conditions. We are pumped to have three riders racing in the infield of Daytona that fans can see from the grandstands or on SPEED TV. There is a lot of preparation for this track to adapt the bikes to the rougher, longer course. Our goal is to continue to improve and if we can do so at Daytona, we will be very, very pumped!”

Supercross fans head to the famed Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida this Saturday, March 6 to watch Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing riders take on both classes. During the pit party before the racing stop by to say hey—you cannot miss the graffiti girl wrap on the team rig. While there, you can meet the riders and check out some of the MXdesignz graffiti-inspired apparel.
