AGV MX Riders Score at Indy and Valence

COSTA MESA, Calif. – It was another good weekend for the AGV motocross racers this past weekend in the USA and in Europe.
For Round 7 of the 2010 AMA Supercross series in Indianapolis (IN), AGV’s Davi Millsaps started the day with the second quickest qualifying lap time in the timed practice sessions. After a small holeshot crash in his Heat, Davi came back and qualified in 8th. When the gates dropped for Indy's main event, DM18 grabbed the holeshot, despite a 16th gate pick, and raced some good battles up front. Davi eventually went down in a sandy corner on lap 15, but quickly got back on his bike, finishing 5th of the night.
With 10 races to go in the series, Honda Red Bull Racing’s Millsaps retains is 4th overall in the standings, staying within striking distance of the Top 3 in the title chase.
At the Valence International MX, in Valence (France) the big guns of the FIM World Motocross Championship met for one of the last pre-season race. AGV was represented with brava by Team Monster Energy Yamaha riders David Philippaerts in the MX1 class and Gautier Paulin in the MX2. While Philippaerts finished 2nd overall in MX1, behind world champ Antonio Cairoli, Gautier took his #21 to a 4th overall in MX2. Both AGV teammates finished in the Top 10 in the Superfinal (MX1 + MX2) with Davi taking 4th and Gautier bringing his 250F to an 8th finish, one of only two 250F in the Top 10.
