Anaheim, CA- With the expected rains staying away, the teams and riders were treated to a great race track and some great racing this week in the AMA Supercross series. The Rockstar/Hart & Huntington team came into the weekend looking to keep Chris Blose going after his main event ride last weekend and to get Matt Boni into the group that he belongs.
And one of the two goals were achieved when Blose, getting rocket starts on his CRF450, qualified easily into the main and once there, finished a credible 15th. After a rough first round, Blose has picked up his speed and now sits 19th in the 450 class after three rounds.
Boni, last season’s privateer of the year, hasn’t made a main event yet despite some impressive speed and this weekend he missed the 450 main again. Matt was in a qualifying spot when another rider fell in front of him and knocked him out of the position. In the LCQ a bad start did him in and although it’s been a rough 2010 for Boni, the team expects the luck to start turning his way soon.
As always, the pits were rocking with Rockstar Energy drink being given away, the fans were hanging out and having a good time. The Rockstar Hart & Huntington team is the place to be this year in the supercross pits. Come by this weekend in San Francisco, get an autograph and a Rockstar Energy Drink!
